Looks amazing man, I really like the look you've achieved
Are you liking the RSRs? Don't feel too bad about the diffuser damage, I clipped a curb last weekend and ripped my front bumper :P
Thanks bro! The RSRs ride nice and smooth, definitely a great investment Im still debating if Im going to keep them or go with an Airrunner setup in the near future
I used a paint and body shop and just requested gloss black. They wanted to remove the bumper and other items, but I told them to tape it and paint it in place.
The pictures really don't capture how much of a difference it makes on the white. it looks really good.
Also, here is a link for an aftermarket, pre-painted version. http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com/black-grille-frame
and plasti dipped the rear logo and chrome windows surrounds.
Doesn't it come off with a high-pressure washer? And doesn't it look like crap from up-close? I remember 'plasti-dip' leaving a rough surface. Or is there a different kind? I'd love to do what you did, but only if it looks OEM, and stands repeated washes. Granted, I wouldn't put the wand directly over those surfaces, but that emblem gets pretty dirty, so need to wash it, so has to withstand a MF rag being rubbed every time.
Finally, I never paint anything up front if I can avoid it. With road debris, any non-factory paint chips awfully. Hope your finish lasts, but I wouldn't even think about it here in the desert southwest. Good luck.
