Wow! You sure! I've been calling all over and this is the best deal I've got so far, but if your 100% I'll ask him and if he says no I'll bail on it.

That's a pretty solid deal. Whats the Cap cost and MF? How much of that 3k is getting applied to Cap cost?

If i run numbers and put 2k of the 3k towards cap I come up with a Net Cap of around $57,709 with an MF of 0.0018. If that's the case you're getting 20% off after cap reduction of the 2k down. In my opinion that's a very good deal right now.

yeah I agree. Why put any money down unless its for MSD's to lower your money factor?

I leased mine in November. MSRP of 73,074. MF 0.0009, residual 59%. $500 down. Negotiated purchase price of $63,999 and additional $3k lease cash. I added on the wheel and tire protection for $1,700 (1 rim costs $2,300 btw) and my payments are 755/month. 36 months and 10k miles a year.

if you're going to put money down, just pay taxes on DMV and 1st month payment.

Otherwise, don't put any cash down.

What I did was contact the dealers through email first so I have tangible evidence of all the transactions.
Once I get the best deal, I just relay the documentation to the other dealers and ask them, "Can you match or beat this price?" Chances are they'll respond and say, "We'll do our best to work with you, when would you like to come in?

I told them I prefer dealing this via email, I did call when I saw a great deal but it was still not the number I was looking for. I'll just keep looking, I'm sure they'll give in the the dark side eventually.

EXACTLY my point! Only first months payment + TTL should be the down your putting if leasing a vehicle. IF you are financing then I guess it doesn't matter

when the dealer keeps insisting that you put more $$ down, walk away.

their mindset will change real quick.

Westside Lexus in Houston, TX did 10 for me in December (make sure the word "refundable" is next to it on your paperwork!), but all the dealerships I contacted seemed to have different answers for the amount of MSD's you could put down. This lowered my MF from .0009 to .000576, effectively saving me $1242.12 over my 33 month lease. No way I could get that kind of guaranteed "return" on my money in any other investment

I still don't get it - if you want to compare apples to apples, why not find out: 1) the money factor, 2) the residual, and 3) other incentives above and beyond these numbers.

In December, I think 3 years, 10k/yr, was 58% and MF was 0.0008, with $3k incentive from Lexus.

What is it in January? Does anyone know? Someone said lexus stopped "supporting" 2015 leases, but does that mean they're entirely unavailable?

It is 56% and 0.0018. There is 5K dealer cash available, but I believe it applies to purchases only. Or dealers are using it to discount off the MSRP.

Just quoted some florida dealers today and the best they can do is 11k off on a 73000 sticker price. Anyone else received a better deal?

2015 buy. But lease prices originates from negotiated discount, buy, price

What prices have you received?
