Have not had the chance to really drive the F yet. The RS had launch control and would do 0-60 in 4 seconds plus or minus 0.1. The RS's MMI controls for the technology were a bit easier to use (no trackpad), but there were no track stats available like the F has (lap timer, etc.). The F feels more luxurious inside - better seats, appointments. The F sounds better except the RS had really ferocious throttle blipping upon downshifting. The RS model has been basically the same since introduction and is need of an update. Redline in the RS was 8300 rpm and it had only 313 ft-lbs of torque, so if you wanted to play with the power, it was at high rpms. The F should be similar, but less so. I traded the RS at 50,000 miles and had no mechanical issues with it, but I'm sure I'll feel better about the F at that mileage point with respect to reliability. Both are wonderful vehicles.
