A few reasons why I did the res-delete over the muffler delete.

1. I really like the look of the stock tips and wanted to avoid the re-welding of each pair to a Y pipe, and risk welding and mounting them crocked relative to each other.

2. The res-delete is a lower-cost, lower-risk alternative. If I didn't like it, $50 and the resonators get welded back. But so far, I'm liking the extra volume without being over the top and no noticeable drone.

3. Muffler delete is louder with a more muscle-car and raspy sound to it - not the sound I was looking for.
I have no rasp with my muffler delete.

I really like the Res-Delete just because it's not overly loud & it has a lil' more ump than stock. I did a Muffler Delete on my Viper & HATED it, sounded like i had a Hole in my muffler. Though i have to admit those V-10's have a different sound altogether & it's hard to make them sound as good as the ole V8's. I just didn't want my car sounding like my old cars back in the days with the Glas-Paks

RCF500, I guess we think alike. Got my late bday gift.
Opted for no holes for the emblems.
