Does anybody know of any paddle shifter extensions out there that are available for our cars? There are a ton of options available for the BMW and Mercedes platform that run between $50 and $100 but I had no luck when I tried searching the web for ANY options for our Lexus platform.
If we had enough interest, I wonder if we could get a company to manufacture some nice aluminum ones! Any interest?

These look nice... How does it feel?
Also who make these and is there any other look? A carbon fiber one would look nice!
The fit and finish is great. Even though they are attached to the factory paddles and don't replace them (like I was wanting), the feel great and the shifts are firm as they should be.
those don't look too bad compared to some other ones I've seen that were crazy long. Guess I've never really understood the purpose of these. Are they suppose to make the shifting easier, better or are they just for looks?
My only issue with the stock paddle shifters is that I have to reach down from my normal 10 & 2 hand position to use the paddles. These extensions may solve that issue for me.

I do know there has been a few times I was turning & I was trying to find my paddle to shift to another gear (still not sure how a longer one is going to help this issue though) & it was not easy to find. Like Doug had said before, it would have made a lot more sense to mount them on the column or somewhere else other than where they are. Not really sure WHAT their reasoning was for putting them on the steering wheel.

For the times where you are making sharp turns e.g. parking lot...use the shift ****. But most of the time your not spinning the wheel that often and so the shifters on the wheel make sense and shorter reach.

All of the above. I wish our shifters were column mounted as well but since that's not an option, I'll just do what I can with what we have lol

Exactly why the extensions would be beneficial to me. Though ~$200 OTD (Cdn) I have considered for the NX is steep. I'd buy them for under $100. I'm ok with the paddles in the RC F since they are a little bigger than the ones in the RC/IS/NX.

Yep, to me $160 is really steep though just for a stick on & $250 for the CF is STUPID Expensive! But, i guess i'm still not really understanding how these will help with the shifting. When i use the paddle shifter i use it from the outside of the steering wheel, the extensions go up & i don't see how this would help unless you're shifting from the inside of your steering wheel! jmo
