More than anything, I want the CF hood to match the CF top and wing.

There was an old post on here that had a rendering of the way the carbon should be cut to match the lines of the hood and headlights.

Good luck on the wrap. I would suggest ordering several samples from ebay before deciding on brand and finish. I once had a carbon roof that peeled up like snake skin after a year in the sun.
Coop, i was talking bout' the Spoiler not the Hood (not sure i'd do that)!

I just Can't imagine paying around 10-12k for a CF Hood (then another $700 to put xpel on it) I say $10-12k just because somebody mentioned it was around $3,500 JUST for a lil' ole' Spoiler!

I believe Zydan did the carbon wrap but removed it because of the matte appearance. The carbon package in real life is super high gloss. Imagine a thick layer of polyurethane over wrap. That why I went with simple gloss black wrap. I felt like it matched more colors on the car. Primarily the black tint. Here are the pics from my install.

I recently had my local Mercedes paint shop quote me $700 to paint the hood scoop, roof and spoiler (gloss black).
