Default Need Help In Translating Japanese

So, my AIMGAIN kit is all painted up and ready to go on....it's just that my Japanese sucks . I've sent several emails to AIMGAIN with no reply back. I can figure things out pretty easily, but there are self tapping screws, inserts and then bolts with locking washers as well as two rubber gaskets. I can figure out the inserts, but the rest has me concerned ( expensive kit and don't want to mess something up). Can someone plz translate these for me? Such a random post I know, but I'm actually at a loss trying to figure this out...especially with the self tapping screws. If it's easier to call me just send me a pm and I'll give you my cell or email.

I have a friend who just came back from Japan to the states for a few weeks. If I can connect with him, I'll see if he can run through it quick. He teaches English over in Japan, and does translations, not necessarily just like this, quite often I would imagine.

Plus, I want to see this on the car!

Ok, lets see how this goes. A huge thanks to my friend Logan for the translation work. I hope this is enough to help you get through it. Let me know if you need any clarification, he'll be around for a few more days yet.

Hey man, no problem. Happy to help out. Don't worry about the oil, I just want to see this setup installed on your car! Looking forward to seeing it finished!

Wow! I have to say that this was a very kind thing you have done to help out another forum member that goes far and above the normal scope of help on an online car forum! Huge for you, Kevin!

Hey guys,

I am actually a professional Japanese to English translator by trade.
While the provided translation is certainly a nice gesture, it is not very good. If it serves your purposes though, then great!
If you need something a little better, let me know.

We have a couple Japanese speaking associates here that might be able to help.

After all, our entire business revolves around authentic Japanese parts haha.

We deal with AIMGAIN directly too so if you need anything from them, let me know. We speak with them on a weekly basis.

Let me know if you need some help. You can email me at bo@bulletproofautomotive.com. Good luck!!

^^^^This! That's what Car Forums are all Supposed to be about. It Sucks though that they wouldn't have some kind of translation in English since they know you're in the USA & most likely A LOT of their RCF customers are. Great Job Kevin!

Thanks guys, but that's what these forums and clubs are all about. I have learned so much from others posts on reviews, product guidance, troubleshooting and so on. We're all here because we have a vested interest in Lexus, the RC F or at the least, sports cars.

I look forward to this sub forum to be as active and helpful as the ISF one was, and I think it will once there are more cars/owners out there. I would rank the ISF forum up there with the good old days of NSX Prime or the M3forums, a wealth of knowledge and someone always willing to help out.

As for the translation, my friend actually sent it to his buddy in Japan who did the translation. Unfortunately, while he is fluent in Japanese, he is still learning English, so yea it might not be the best translation. I can ask for clarification if needed, or it looks like we have others here that can help as well.

As more people undertake mods that do not have English instructions, it would be great to house any translations somewhere for the next person to use.

Can't wait to see the finished install!
