Wish the RC-F had even the crude single-clutch automated transmission of the LFA, rather than a torque-converter automatic... and an Aisin at that (rather than the more sophisticated ZF unit), just because Toyota has a mayority stake. But it should have the same Getrag 7-sp DCT on Porsches, BMWs, etc, instead of going half-a$$, when Lexus only has ONE such car. Oh well. The lethargic downshifts (even in sport+) in manual mode was the reason I'm not completely sold on this car. The upshifts are acceptably quick, but downshifts are downright awful. Guess the tranny only locks 2-8 gears on upshifts. Hopefully 2016s will address that. And yes, what a beauty of a car is that LFA.. That V10 engine sounds like nothing else.
