The camera car (orange) is the one with the TVD which adds a lot of weight to the vehicle. They both have custom exhausts. The orange one still has the factory catalytics in place whereas the blue one eliminated them thus increasing exhaust flow over the orange car. Both cars run great but the blue one definitely had the upper hand (also, passenger and driver in blue car were lighter than the combined weight of the orange car's driver and passenger). Cheers!

 

Read that it was like 60 lbs. Probably why Lexus deleted the moonroof on that package and added C/F roof. But my question is this: Is it worth the weight penalty vs the standard Torsen? And under which conditions? My car has it, but curious. Thx.

 

i have talked to people who spent days after days pushing through these cars at the track. unless you push your car very hard and close to the limits, and do it over and over and compare it with cars on regular torsen, then you can see the benefit.

it's not something like night and day difference, but it's there
