Has anyone put these on their RCF?

I was thinking about using them, but I was curious if anyone knew how the existing piece is held on.

Is it fastened only with double-sided tape or is there a plastic rivet behind it? I may actually take it off all together, but it depends.

It says at the bottom of the page it uses 3m double sided tape. I can't tell a difference except for the fender well strip thingy.

What's the purpose of it besides looking like a stick-on fender piece?

I Agree C, for $180 it Can't be Much for something that goes on the RCF!

They are more than sticking on, there is a retainer on each side, here are pics:
