Shell 93 here. Doesn't the ECU compensate for lower octane?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but I came across this link when I was looking for quality 93 octane for my RCF. This guy started it and stations are added all the time by the public, guys like you and me. It's come in handy for me many times. Here in Minnesota, 91 octane is everywhere, but there's 93 octane available too, and it's generally priced similar to the 91 octane because it's not treated as anything special, but rather the premium fuel at most of these stations. So in other words, most stations offer 87, 89, and 91. At the stations that offer 93, it just replaces 91, so it's 87, 89, and 93 and not priced any higher, or much higher, than the competing gas stations in the neighborhood selling 91. So if I have my choice and I'm not paying significantly more, I make it a point to drive to these stations that supply 93 octane and support them. Here's the link to the website:
