I test drove my friend's new IS200t and felt it was much more nimble than my RCF. Am I hallucinating? I just feel the power is immediate around town and more than adequate on the highway

I've also tried the other Lexus cars as my loaner cars like ES and GSFsport. Their acceleration is immediate. I'm guessing because they're way lighter. Their suspension is way soft as if I'm floating. Lol! But if you go for Sports/Sports+, the acceleration should be immediate as well... The only difference is they won't reach 168+mph like the RCF...

A turbo car has a much different power curve man. Most of us MUCH prefer the linearity of a normally-aspirated engine, even when that means less torque down low. Seems like you're more of a forced-induction guy then.

On that note, my buddy the salesman (very knowledgeable on the RC-F, and a very good driver) told me it'd make a big difference if I use an octane booster on this car, since the ECU takes advantage of that. Since I have 4 bottles of Boostane left from the GTR, will use one on the RC-F and see what happens. With one 32-oz bottle on this 17.5-gal tank, it'll raise octane from 91 to around 95. Will report back after a few runs, to make sure ECU adapted to it. Have a good one.

OP, IS 200t is 400 lbs lighter so it will feel more nimble, but power you're hallucinating! The 2L Turbo 4 in my NX is lethargic on takeoff and overall responsiveness nowhere near the instant response of the RCF.
