Default RCF grill question with picture

Is this how they come now with pre drilled holes? Looks stock? Anyone else have this or did dealership do it

Mine had it. My state requires front license plate. With those, the dealership didn't have to monkey around trying to install the plate bracket.

So does Ohio, but every other rc or rcf just has dimple holes and not the holes like this one seemed different

Mine looks exactly like yours OP, so I'd say normal... at least on front license plate states. It's almost invisible unless at very close distance, so doesn't bother me in the least. And no, I didn't put a front plate myself; never had one on ANY of my cars for over 3 decades, and no tickets for that yet. But my car came with the bracket and screws (in the trunk), and it'd take me a few minutes to install, if ever needed for a 'fix it' ticket. And can be removed again just as easily, with no trace. I'd still put a rubber backing behind the bracket, to avoid grinding the grille over time. What I didn't like is freaking Lexus not including the 2 front parking sensors; aholes. Ha ha. Other Lexus vehicles with an equally large grille have them. Oh well.

Mine had ugly holes drilled into it....was not happy since i have out of state tags that don't require a front plate.
