Default NAV/Stereo system "rebooted" while driving

This happened while I was driving.. Stereo shut down, Nav screen went blank, then immediately rebooted as if I had just turned it ON. Anyone had this happened to theirs?

There is a software update. Execute it and see if it is resolved.

Thanks, is there anything I need to download to do the update? Here's what I'm seeing and it won't let me move to the update button.

I also have some NAV issues, long delays for voice address search (90 sec before I get PARDON), long NAV start init (takes 45sec before it sees the talk button press and responds correctly), I get some hangs and a NAV reboot when I went into reverse for 20ft during a long wait for voice input address search. Might be like JT2MA71's problem.
Voice recognition problem happen both when engine off or on.
Have done Voice Training engine running with no error. Sidebar: Dont have my iPhone in area when test. Sidebar: it takes a over 1m15sec sec fo finally say No Bluetooth attached. Guess a dealer service visit required
and will have some video ready for them.

As of 12-25-2015 what is the latest update.
I show

My Current Nav V15A8872

My OS 16.8700

My update column (NEW) shows a dash ( - )

Mine is not as new as JT2MA71's at V15A8880.

I've posted on this as well, nav rebooting or nav just freezing and a forced reboot being needed (press and hold the power button)

it appears to happen to me only with the ENFORM app and using any of the music streaming services, slacker, Pandora, etc.

if I just Bluetooth sync and run Pandora from my phone without using Enform I do not experience the issue.

I was told there is a software update I need to correct the freezing, and I will get it next month when I go in for my first 5,000 oil change and see if it fixes the issues.

Updated it tonight. Hopefully it fixes the intermittent, random cutout.

Thanks for the link stevez!

If this is anything like the NX problem, I would document it with the local SA, and see if it pops up again. A couple of NX owners had a similar problem, their fix was a complete nav replacement.

I updated the software and unfortunately not only do I still get random cutouts, my nav totally rebooted for the first time today.

This is obviously an issue.

I'm bringing it into the dealer this week for the oil change and a rattle so I'll mention it to them.

Any updates? What did they find?

I'm finally bringing it in for the oil change today and will ask.

It hasn't happened again but surmise that it eventually will.
