I personally don't care one way or another, but I'm doubtful that we will ever see an huge increase in the aftermarket industry for our RCFs, especially from a forced induction perspective (look as the ISF).
Right now you have 2015 RCF's that have sat on dealer lots for 175-200 days and are now being force to offer discounts of $5,000-$6,000 under MSRP (I paid $69,000 for mine) just to get rid of them.
Outside of bolt-on stuff, I'm not banking on much more being offered and since all these companies charge a luxury markup on Lexus aftermarket parts, it drives away a lot of potential customers into American Muscle cars where you can get twice the power for half the cost (granted, you don't get the Lexus refinement), but a lot of people care more about the power to the wheels then the quality.

Not suppose to talk too much about it, but I've been contacted about the SC from another manufacturer. It's here in the USA as I'm writing this. It's here and it's coming

can you guys stop crying and let the OP post facts from the manufacturer as he gets them. No one cares about your opinion and we already know what you think.
I don't understand why some people think an stand alone computer will cost 20-30k; when a stand alone syvecs unit for the GTR cost 6.5k and it can be had for a lot less.

Awesome find @Raykwon02!! Thanks for sharing.
No numbers yet. As soon as we get an update, I'll post that up for you guys.
As long as it works with our US spec cars, I'd highly recommend this SC kit to any RCF owner... hopefully it works. I'll keep you all updated!!

Hey guys, so our Bulletproof Automotive crew had the chance to run into the J&K supercharged RCF while in Japan attending the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon event.
Our team was able to speak with one of the guys from J&K so luckily he gave us a very brief explanation on some of the issues and difficulties they endured.
Basically this setup is extremely difficult to successfully implement on any car. Even for the Japanese model RCF, the guys at J&K told us it was incredibly difficult to tune properly.
What was explained to us was that apparently there is an issue where the engine's ECU and the transmission controller communicate with each other and will automatically shut down the car if any parameters are changed or if there is a broken link in the communication between the engine's ECU and the transmission control unit, so both ECU and transmission unit must be tuned at the same time; however, the ECU and transmission unit are manufactured by different companies so trying to tune both concurrently is extremely difficult to do properly. There isn't an easy plug-and-play type of tuning solution.
The guys are J&K told us that many of the GT cars/race cars you see that are running highly modified RC350's and RCF's have different transmissions swapped into them and are utilizing tuning solutions like MOTEC for the ECU. Most likely the transmissions are custom built transmissions for racing.
There was a lot more said during their conversation but my guys didn't have time to relay everything over so I shared what I could with you guys. I'm hoping to get more info on this in the coming days so I'll post up again when I find out more.
We'll keep tabs on this in the coming future. If there are any new updates, we'll let you guys know.
For now, here are some updated photos of the J&K supercharged RCF...
