Supercharger Kit for RC-F - Option Magazine Teaser!

Interesting, using the HK$ Piggybacks just like the old unit on my G35. I am not quite sure why a lot of people say it will not work as this type of setup does not require tuning of the stock eco as it intercepts the signals, changes values and sends to the various electronics. This worked like a charm on my G35, and when I first got into Supras we used all the piggybacks prior to advancements in standalone like AEM, Haltech, etc.
Still excited

Racer
very nice and looks promising.
The video above - belt sounds like its going to break off - dont think it should sound like that.
Would be more interested to see a supercharger that sits atop the engine like on the hellcat and ford mustang. That would mean of course a new hood.
I am patiently waiting for lexus to put a twin turbo V8 in their gsf, rcf and lc500 when it comes out. Amongst all the competitors in the segment, lexus is the only one without a turbo. I would
bet by 2018 or 2019 its here. Even lexus themselves said this is the last naturally aspirated engine monster engine.

Lexus Logic
I just don't get it....Toyota made S/C's for the Landcruiser, Forerunner, FJ Cruiser, and TUNDRA at one time or another. The Tundra and Landcruiser cost as much and even more than an RC F. Why can't Lexus simply have TRD, (Toyota Racing Development), manufacture a Supercharger for the RCF???
My LC had a 1 year warranty on a TRD EATON Supercharger ....installed by Gulf States Toyota in Houston. it ran flawless. It absolutely
boggles my mind to their reasoning. If these S/C's are good enough for Toyotas TOP OF THE LINE models..why not Lexus?
Make it a factory option and charge $5,000.00 for it plus install.

5,000 wont begin to cover the cost of boosting this motor, think 10-15k
