vanity plates.

vanity plates.
finally got the tags for my RCF, I decided to order vanity plates..
I've never had them, but since CA release the legacy Black/Yellow plates I decided I wanted to get some.
ordered them today:
I know it's kind of boring, but I was going for a subtle phrase that is personal but looks like a generic sequential plate.
Bumping this.
So I sold my RCF and the new owner doesn't want the plates...
if anyone in CA (local to Long Beach/ North Orange County) is interested I will transfer them to you..

White car.
These were the CA plates in the 1960s, CA just re-released them as a custom option.
I'm not too fond of the yellow lettering would rather it be white, but the black plates look much better than the white with blue lettering normal plates IMO.

I like those characters. Definitely works for the car.
I ordered one for my F as well. Ordered it 2 months ago so hopefully it'll come sometime soon. I like how the color will match the diffuser and this would be the only license plate that i think will look good on the front.
Since these plates are transferable, I made my characters more personal so I can transfer it to my next car.

There might be another thread for this but, I have been thinking about personalized plates as well and what I might be able to get away with. Here are two that I thought were interesting. In NC we get 8 characters:

there was a news story a couple days ago about a guy that has had "37OHZZV" on his plates for some 10 years and someone finally complained and he was forced to remove them and return them to the DMV for being offensive.
in case you can't figure it out, it's AZZHOLE upside down and backwards.
sadly we live in a world where everyone gets butthurt over stupid mindless cr@p.

90-120 days is what the DMV said when I called.
the site said 6-8 weeks (60 days) and when they didn't show within that time I called and I was told they are in process but they have been experiencing 90-120 days on the legacy plates.
I have no plates, at the moment I have a temp sticker on the car which expired on March 4.
The DMV sent the original plates for my car, but I have always had disabled person plates, so I took the issued plates in and was going to have them swapped out for disabled plates, but decided on the Legacy plates, so the DMW took my order for the Legacy plates, took my plates and gave me a sticker, I called when the sticker expired and was told it could be another 2 months, but they won't give me an extension sticker, told me to just show the police my order confirmation if I get pulled over.
