Default Odds of GSF CF front splitter fitting?

You guys think this part could be swapped out? Would have been smart to use the same piece (front grill) to cut cost of production. Would be sweet if it fits! Nice piece of carbon fiber

Chaosrob rc f for comparison

I think it is a sure fit...from the pictures. Check with parts. See if the Grill is the same part number as the RC F. If it is..it should fit. Nice find!

That would be great. But can I go ahead and post my response for when someone gets a price quote from the parts and labor dept?

"...Good GOD, just pay a guy $30 to wrap in carbon print."

Just looking at the grill, they look a little different, just noticed that upper part has extra angle to it. Damn. I was at an auto show and all the rage is carbon fiber trim pieces in the front, mirrors and rear

They look similar but I don't think it'll work.

Default front grille

The RCF front grille assy consists of basically 4 parts: Upper Grille 5311224100 ($629), Lower Grille 5211224030 ($177), Grille Surround 5312124040 ($169), Lower Molding 5312224020 ($136). If the lower molding (carbon fiber) from the GSF fits in the same spot we are golden. The grille surround and upper grille (around the hood only) does look different on the GSF, but if the lower part is the same we might get lucky. I can not at this time find part # info on the GSF but will keep looking. When I find the part number I will order it and try it.

Right! Being that the front is a GS and all that space required for oil coolers.

Keep us posted!

I had a long conversation with the wife after I got this tidbit of information - specifically about backing into parking spots as an everyday approach.
