Q60 looks like an Accord Coupe and has less horsepower vs RC-F and M4. It's going to need to priced very well to compete...and it still requires taking it to a Infiniti dealer vs. a Lexus Dealer.

+1. I find nothing appealing about the new Q60 including the bland waterfall Q50 dash.

I got mine for close to that, well kind of. They were able to get me a fully loaded 2015 RC-F for 68.5 and they had a 1% sales tax. And I opted to add the wheel and tire protection package considering the wheels are expensive.

68,500 Price
685 Sales Tax
1850 Wheel and Tire Warranty

71035

I likely paid more then others, but for me it was a good enough deal.

What's the MSRP of your fully loaded car? $80k? 1% tax because it's cash? 8% + whatever OFF MSRP = $71k instead of $87k is pretty good...

I bought it in December so I figured it was apart of the holiday incentives.

And MSRP was roughly at 80, 79,9XX

further on this i have a customer trading in a 2015 Q50s i guess thats what it is with 15k miles stillen exhaust and intake super clean. We didnt really know how to appraise it because it is so new. We called the INFINITI dealer. They told us they still have 2014s on the lot and this car's trade in value was between 26 and 28k the owner paid 49k sale price less that a year ago. Lexus doesnt even really consider INFINITI a competent competition

Sorry to say guys this thread need to be closed lol, infiniti Does NOT compete with Lexus so please stop. Infiniti makes great cars for people in that class or market. When I have spoken to reliable sources about f model products Lexus isn't too concerned about how rc-f sells. Is-f sale numbers has shown and proven for many years, so I would say Lexus isn't too worried about the small high horsepower market right now they are looking to the future with the f brand. As for the gs-f now that will be a rare vehicle on the road with sticker price of 84k+

I think you'll see adequate GS-F sales. The $84K is just about a loaded car for the money with head room for another $4-5K worth of options--just about what some of us paid for a loaded RC F carbon TVD.

And I agree: Lexus is not concerned about F sales. Why should they be? For a first year entry they were relatively strong--and most likely stronger than IS F sales were. The F is the Future for Lexus, and it is a repositioning of their brand.

And the F buyers are not looking for me-too copies of the Germans. F is Lexus' answer to M, RS, and AMG, and a different answer it is--high performance, ultra-design, desirable luxury, and reliability.
