So I took off the axel-back...
I removed the factory exhaust (axel-back) just to hear what a muffler delete would sound like...amazing. The entire car port it was under was rattling. Drove around a bit just to get an idea and the tone is nice and deep, not raspy at all since the resonators were still there. Barely any highway drone.
I think I'm going to go ahead and gut the muffler to hold me by and save up a bit more for the meistershaft with valve control!

My sons friend came by with his Charger last night and he had pulled the mufflers as well...sounded great. So....forgive my ignorance..but you have to have a straight pipe to fill the "gap" once you pull the mufflers right? Will this pass vehicle inspections? ...is there no CEL that pops on?

thanks, not much help, seems quiet if the windows are up etc.
but I want to hear it as it drives by from the outside, what others hear.
too bad this company doesn't make and ship the system online. I don't want to drive to Texas just for some exhaust.

I opened up the factory muffler today but not sure how I'm going to gut it so it'll be like a straight pipe.
