Finally got around to take a video. This is a muffler delete with stock resonators. I had the shop cut right where the axel back bolts up to the midpipe thus ridding of the factory crushed pipe.
Possibly but not any time soon. Still not entirely sure how long I plan to keep the RCF so I don't want to sink too much money into it. At the time I purchased the car, it was going to be my daily, but I have since picked up a FJ Cruiser as a daily. Now as a pleasure car I don't mind giving up some luxury/comfort for performance...so an R35/R36 might be in the near future.
Are those the stock tips welded to new axelback piping? Size? Can you post a pic of your setup underneath?
No they are aftermarket tips, slightly larger than factory tips and imo fills in the back better. I have 2.5" mandrel bent from resonator back.
I'm on a 750 mile road trip right now, in Eco mode and cruise control:
70mph - no drone and quiet like stock unless going uphill
75mph - no drone, slight rumble
80mph - definite drone. 92-94 decibel. Cruised for an hour and got a headache and ears muffled.
