Would you guys recommend patch or plug for long-term reliability. I drive rather fast quite often if that makes a difference lol.
BOTH - The proper repair for a modern tire is complete removal of the tire from the wheel. Then installation of the plug and then a patch put on the inside. Then a remount and the water test (emerge the wheel, tire combo in a bath and check for bubbles, then a balance and remount.

However, any tire repair will make invalid any speed rating on the tire.

Now - your situation. Have you removed the offending screw? If you have, and no PSI drop, it didn't puncture enough of the tire for it to be repaired. Leave it alone. If you haven't, I would removed it, either at your home, if you have a jack and a truck. If not, then at the tire shop.

I would get it fixed ASAP. Last thing you want is front tire failure during high speeds over 15$

I bought a plug kit, have been pulling out nails and screws for years now, plugging them and driving on. I drive at 90 mph + on a regular basis and have never had any issue with plugs, but could be a first time I suppose. On the other hand, every time the tires are demounted for a patch that is another opportunity to scratch / scrape those custom wheels so I stay away from that as much as possible.
