Vivid vinyl high gloss tech art is what I wrapped my hood with. Nice material. Some what self healing. Easy to apply. Matches oem cf the best imo. I purchased 5 different cf vinyl before I decided on this.
IMO the 3M stuff doesn't match right. It's not high gloss like the oem finish. That's the hardest thing to match is the gloss finish.

I purchased the Vivid and 3M and chose the overall look of the 3M as it was more consistent under different lighting.
Also be aware that some wraps are not suitable for exterior applications.

yeah vivid has many different cf wraps available. There's only one that's high gloss & for exterior use.

I was also looking at the Vivid high gloss. I seen mixed reviews on it. But it did look close to the factory trim carbon fiber. However, the factory hood doesn't look like the trim inside the car. So if you wanted to emulate the carbon fiber hood you would need to get a different wrap. But if you're just trying to match the trim inside of the car, I'm sure it's fine.
I'll be getting my real carbon hood real soon so I won't have to worry if the vinyl matched or not 😎😎😎

Ok. Here are shots of the vivid vinyl cf wrap on my car.
Shots are with flash & without.
(not sure why pics loaded sideways...hate that. Anyone know why?)

Me personally, i like it to have gloss like the oem roof.
The 3m film is a satin finish.
