Radio/NAV Screen Keeps Resetting

Radio/NAV Screen Keeps Resetting
This morning I got in my car and pulled out of my driveway like normal. SAT Radio playing, everything good. After about 10 min I stopped at McDonald's to get some breakfast and turned the car off. When I come back to my car and start it, it starts normal, SAT radio playing.
After about 30 seconds the screen goes blank and the system resets itself, music stops. The screen turns back on and shows the Lexus "Welcome" screen as if I just started the car. About every 15 - 20 seconds after that it keeps doing the same thing. I tried shutting the car off and restarting it, hoping maybe it would reset the system and nothing, same issue. I had to drive to work with the screen and radio resetting itself every 15 - 20 seconds, very annoying.
Has anyone experienced this, and have a simple fix before I have to take it to the dealer? I know all the updates and downloads available for the car and NAV system have been done so I'm not sure what could be causing this? Everything else in the car works fine and has not been affected by this, even the backup camera works fine.

I'd say try resetting the system yourself by holding the power button. Hopefully that'll kick it out of the reboot cycle. But every 15 seconds is a lot. That barely gives you enough time to reset it yourself, sheesh.

Happened to mine once before and I actually posted the same question. It only rebooted once though. Here's the thread

I spoke to my service advisor who happens to be a friend of mine, and he told me I'm the 6th person who has called him with the same complaint this morning. He says it's an issue on Lexus end and not something wrong with the car. He said the only *possible* fix is to disconnect the battery for a bit and reconnect and hope that resets the system. He said it has worked on a few cars and has not worked on others. So for right now if that doesn't work we're going to be stuck with this issue until Lexus resolves it.

There's a nation-wide problem with Lexus Enform that's causing the vehicle's system to crash.
No updates yet. Disconnecting battery can temporarily bring systems online, but this is a brand new problem that just started today.

Same problem this afternoon too..
Hey, Club Lexus Members
I started my RCF this afternoon around 1pm and restarted it 3 times. I have the exact issues too. I drove perfectly fine to work, 20 miles away and the Navigation, Music and Center Console Screen keeps resetting every 10-15 seconds. Hopefully, Lexus fixes this bug without having to go to the dealership tomorrow. :-(

I had to take my vehicle to the dealership to fix the issue; took about 30 minutes. On my home I noticed my NAV screen would switch to NIGHT mode and DAYTIME mode when I went under a bridge or the sun got blocked. I normally have this switched to DAYTIME mode all the time and went to MENU then to DISPLAY and the DAYTIME mode option is gone. I have a 2015 NX 300h but wondered if anyone was experiencing this problem?

It's a widespread issue that's affecting a lot of the newer models

My gf's 13' RX has not had the issue, however my 15' RCF got the issue this afternoon after work. Just got home and disconnected the negative and it seemed to have done the trick. However some are reporting that it reappears after an hour, so I'll check back later
EDIT: It's a been a few hours since, and I tried starting my car again and the issue is gone. My theory is that now that Lexus is aware of the issue, they've stopped the OTA software push so cars won't be receiving the buggy update anymore. Those earlier today that have tried the battery trick and had the same issue come up again was probably due to Lexus unaware of the issue and was still pushing the update.
