Borla ATAK cat-back on 2015 M3... Yikes sound like a moped chocking on rocks

I think borla only sounds good on a v8.

Any Aussies here?
This exhaust is over $3,000 AUD locally.
What's my best option, would shipping internationally be viable?

Thanks

Thanks Josh,

That shipping cost seems ok.
Why does the marketing material for the Borla exhaust say - Off Road Use Only ?

^^^^Not really. It's because US Federal Law, don't know about NSW, forbids the removal or modification of any part of the emissions system. That includes the exhaust system, more specifically the secondary cats in the exhaust system. With that being said, have I modified my exhaust system. YES I have. Do I have stock cats, NO I don't. But, I do run HFCs

But yes, California has more strict rules than the EPA and they are more strict than most other states in enforcing their laws.

What product are you guys using to black out the rear facing side of the borla muffler so that it blends better with the rear diffusor?

The entire process start to finish took 45 mins. I wanted to get the exhaust on the car asap. 4 shops later and one quote as high as 300 bucks ( I laughed in that mechanics face, he clearly was trying to take advantage due to the car - attempting to charge more ). Exhaust went on for 120 bucks. Again, under an hour so I thought it was fair.

Overall, I love the sound. A lot louder than the joe-z. The sound is raw and it's loud. I'm ordering PPE headers soon too, so I'm sure the car will really be " there " once that happens.

how Much louder is your Borla over the stock with res delete?

did you record the sound with stock and res delete and sound with Borla for comparison?

Im on headers now....look me up on Ig - RCF_MdRacer, I think I have a video. Borla sounds like a true exotic car. Header on the Borla is just plain loud. I was Dyno'd at RR-Racing this weekend and man, ear protection was needed. Yet, i have recommended the system to well over 5 people and of those everyone has called me back with ear-to-ear grins expressing their joy. Headers is the next level. Dont get them if you dont like to hear your car. The Borla solo, will meet most modding requirements.

^ Josh was the first RCF guy to buy his exhaust from me. Got his exhaust to him in less than 24 hours of payment. He definitely started the Borla trend..
