Default RC have enough power?

Hey guys,

Wanted everyones opinion, currently I have a 2009 ISF that I am about to trade in for a 2016 RC 300 AWD.

Going from 418 to 255 horses seems a crazy jump.

Did anyone do this and do they have any regrets?

I'd get a lightly used 2011+ ISF. I'd never consider a non-F Lexus. Good luck!

Why in the world would you downgraded? Why not RCF?

I don't mind hopping into my HS (187 hp) and feel the power is adequate in city driving. Similarly, my NX is peppier and spirited (235 hp), but again limited to city driving making it more than fine. When I drive my RC F, I rarely ever get to enjoy it fully in the city and with all the cops around.

Point here is, it depends on your use case.

Yeah, I go 0 to 60 in about 4 and half seconds on small rural highways in my RCF, then I will have to back off or if I don't, in the next few more seconds I will see triple digits on the speedometer AND SEE BLUE LIGHTS IN MY REAR VIEW MIRROR! !!! Too many cops around.

That's the thing, I don't do much spirited driving at all, just A to B...I literally work 2 minutes from work and am usually there all day and all night lol.

My 09 is now 7 going on 8 years old now...the interior is dated, technology is dated, close to 87000km.

Not worried on the reliability but just seems dated...I am sure with a few minor mods I will get to 300 horses.

To ME it doesn't! I'd Still rather go slow around town in a Really Nice Ride like the F' or Porsche or Viper than i would in a VW Jetta or a Prius! Just cause i can't go WOT, i Still want to be Cruisin' in a NICE Ride. jmo
