Levinson Audio vs Upgraded Standard Audio
I'm in the market for an RC F and I have found a few potential candidates that have all the key features but sometimes lacks the Levinson Audio.
I was wondering if anyone without the Levinson has simply upgraded speakers and/or amp), of the basic audio system, to get better overall sound imaging than the standard system? How would this compare to the Levinson system?
When looking at vehicles on the lot (RC F and RC 350's), I found that the sound imaging of the base system was quite off and sounded like it was coming from the windshield in front of me instead of around me in the vehicle. Fading 30% to the rear definitely improved it, but just feels like the speakers are not balanced or something? While the Levinson seemed to be much better balanced all around?
I was wondering what other's experiences have been in trying to get the audio system into shape?
Thanks!
