Default Lexus 2015 RCF FBO vs Dodge Challenger Scat Pack North Face Rally

I'm back from hiatus, in honor of getting my RRRacing ECU tune this weekend, I give you this.

*Video was recorded somewhere in Mexico. Enjoy!

Nice! Before the ECU Tune, does your CEL pop up? If so, how often and does it slow you down? After ECU tune, how's the change in performance and shifting is there is any?

CEL pops up 300-400 miles now, I just reset the CEL via OBD wifi once it pops up, TBH I don't feel any difference with the CEL on. Getting the ECU tune this Sunday.

Lol, I was watching this and I heard a faint cop siren cop on in the background before you got to the semi. Being in a tall building, it sounded like the siren was on the video.

Lol, no cops, just a little background music playing against the sweet engine note.

Sounds like she's running really good, i just Cringe when i see what speeds you were going & that 18-wheeler coming up (if he decided to change lanes for no apparent reason it would have been Bad). Definitely let us know if there's much difference when you get the tune!

Ballsy passing those cars at twice the speed! Wish you had a rearward-facing camera to see how far back the Challenger was but looks like you beat him by a fair margin.
I don't think a stock RC F would beat it or at best tie it... not sure.

They are pretty even cars in a drag race. It's a driver's race.

On a road course... I'd put my money on the RC F.

Nice race. Why did you leave it in auto and not hold the proper gear to start in manual mode? You would have pounced right off the bat rather than waiting. The Challenger got the jump because you were waiting for the auto transmission to downshift to the right gear.

She will sound even better with a supercharger! Yes it was a very sketchy moment, sometimes in Mexico, you just got to do it and get it over with... Lol. I almost had a 18-wheeler squash me this morning while driving NORMALLY to Philly.

Yes it is. It's where fear no longer exist, all but pure adrenaline, well for me at least. #no****sgiven

My rally crew was way ahead of me, so I knew the road was somewhat clear lol. It's was about 10+ car lengths, he did not let off at all until I did at the end. The RCF is extremely impressive on the top end.

On a drag strip, if the challenger puts the power down correctly, the stock RCF will get beaten every time, 12.4-12.6 1/4 mile. Top end wise, no contest, RCF hands down.

I was cruising and was trying to catch up to my rally group. When he pulled up and punched it, I was like OK let's do this, so I went with the fastest way to drop to the lowest gear without shifting to M and that was to punch it, then shift to M. Even with the jump, he was no match for the RCF.

OK, that is a perfectly legit reason. I just noticed it before as well when you raced the ISF (gearbangin) when he was holding in a low gear while you kept in D. The ISF would get the jump while you waited for the car to downshift. That is why I thought it was something you prefer. Thanks for clearing it up.

It's already been proven that the RC F can run 12.5's in the hands of a skilled driver. But I was thinking of the "old" SRT Challenger anyway... I don't keep up on muscle cars like I used to. I raced a guy at work and pulled on him. But he informed me tonight that he has a 2010 SRT Challenger.

The A8 Scat Pack is supposedly capable of breaking into the high 11's with a great driver and optimum conditions... and it can trap up to 118 mph.

DR's and a tune: 11.5
