Nice!

Ever took it to the 1/4 mile drag strip? Wonder how that compares to stock Rcf running 12.8 trapping 110

Yep my best so far was a 12.5 @ 113 MPH, 1100 ft above sea level.

12.5 with 20's or stock wheels? Do you have the performance package? I am really perplexed as to why no RC-Fs, stock or modified, has broken 12.5. I believe your F is fully bolted and tuned and still you said that 12.5 is your best? I used to own an IS-F and back in the day, fully bolted IS-Fs would have no problem breaking 12.5 easily. Care to share your thoughts? Thanks for sharing your video. Keep em coming!!

20s, no performance package. For comparison, Gearbangin, who has a FBO 2008 ISF, his best time was 12.6 at the same strip.

Your car with the TVD would break 12.5--no doubt in my mind.

Regardless, that's an excellent run time.

That video was before the headers and tune, IIRC.

Headers yes, tune no. Before the headers I ran a 12.7 I believe. I may go back this Saturday to do a few runs to see if I can get the time down lol.

Just looked up the stats..

the AM only have a 4.7 v8 430 bph, thought they were pushing over 500

bet the owner drove straight back to the dealer after losing to the Lex

Aren't they around 3,500 pounds? The Aston Martin experience is so much more than just accelerations. They are very cool cars.

In fairness, the Vantage V8 is their entry level car. The Vantage V12, DB8, DB 11 and Vanquish all step up the hp game. The DB11 is a heck of a car.

"

About 400lbs. Yeah I bet it's an unique driving experience, especially the higher end models

Speaking of weight, had 2 passengers totaling 320lbs, plus I'm 190, in the F tonight and it flat out refused to accelerate

Do you mean about 4,000 pounds. Just looked, The GT is the least expensive and lightest (44 pounds less than the regular V8 hardtop) car that Aston makes and should be around 3,550 to 3,600 depending on wheels.

Here is a cool article comparing it to a 911. The 911 beats it in all performance categories, but Road and Track concluded:

"The Vantage GT may fall behind in facts and figures, but stands alone in its ability to bring back the elemental joy of driving."

Aren't you in California? Resident vampire?

The Vantage V8 GT has a great sound.

The V12 sounds pretty awesome.
