Smile New rcF owner

Hey guys,

I just got an rcF and just joined the community. Here are a few pics of my new car!
I wanted to see if i got a good deal on it as well. if you guys could share your prices
It was a 2015 with mark levinson, the upgraded rims, performance package, and 1900 miles. I paid 56500 plus tax for it. I also added a 7 year warranty for nails/burst tires for 1000 and another warranty for seat protection and outside paint protection from bugs for another 6-700. They said that they will replace the rim if its bent and buff it out if it gets curbed. They also said they will replace the tire if it bursts or has a nail for no additional costs. Please let me know your opinions. Thanks!

that car retailed for nearly $80,000 and you paid $56,500 and you want to know if you got a good deal?

I get that but for some reason I felt like it was too good of a deal. 80k car with 1900 miles for 56500. They said some old doctor traded it back bc it was to small for him but still I feel like it was too good to be true.

Congrats. its priced right where it needs to be. you have to understand they are trying to make sales before 2017 comes. your price is around the same price i was getting for the same options. actually, yours might be 2k less because of the carbon/tvd.

Ooooo thank you! I guess you are correct. Thats scary when you think about the depreciation. Do you guys think that it will take a drop a lot more next year and then the following year?

its not too scary for depreciation. No i don't think it will drop. I got a huge trade in with my IS-F after owning it for 4 years. Just like the IS-F, there is a point where it stops going down. Im happy about the initial depreciation because it has gotten me into one. Last year around this time, I was offered an RC-F 2015 new with every option besides ML system and carbon package for 57k. This year its the same for 2016 models. I always buy at the end of the year with all of the rebates.

Depreciation levels out over time and it looks like 2015 BASE coupes with premium cost $66k new will be in the low $40k/high $30k range by the end of 2017. That's not bad considering a $82k 2013 BMW 740i with ZERO options sells for less than $35k now. You are right where you should be based on your options plus low milieage

Congrats! !

That's a heck of a deal!!!! Especially with the TVD/CF/Performance Package! ! I wished I got the package too! !!

I bought my Lexus L Certifued CPO 2015 RCF October last year with 18xx miles without the TVD/CF/Performance Package (has everything else including ML) for an even $59000 before TTL. I was told some real elderly lady bought the RCF and after a couple of months came back to the same Lexus dealer to trade it in for a brand new LS460 bc the RCF was hurting her back due to the stiff ride.

I also went for the wheel and tire protection package and that's all. I turned down other optional stuff they were trying to sell me.

Important to know that there is a minimum tread required in order to claim this should your tire go bust on you. I forgot what the minimum is, but it is on your paperwork. Usually it us whatever the legal limit is. Meaning if your tire goes bust and you are below the minimum, then you are SOL bc they figure you should known better to drive around with bald tires. If you are above minimum, then you are covered. I had this on my other car, MB SLK55AMG which the rear tire blew out when I hit a big metal rebar on the interstate during construction. The pressure from the blow out destroyed the OEM AMG RIM along with the tire. Total cost for ONE tire and ONE OEM AMG RIM was around $2500!!!!! All paid for and NO DEDUCTIBLE! !! Yes, I took the car with the blow out rim to the MB dealer and the tire was above minimum tread! !! So one incident I got more than my money back!!!

BTW, if you got it as a CPO from a Lexus dealer, then yours has UNLIMITED MILEAGE WARRANTY FOR THE DURATION. Mine was in 2015 which only goes to 100k miles (I think).

What a heck of a killer deal you got!!!! Congrats again. I love the color!!!!

Congrats on the new car. What part of GA are you at? Who else in GA is on here? I'm in Atlanta. Maybe we could have a car meet.

I find that funny for 2 reasons;

1) I went with the RC F instead of a Porsche because I travel a lot and storage space was a concern with the Porsche. That wasn't the only reason why I changed it up, but it was a reason.

2) A few weeks ago I parked next to a Porsche when I went to get my hair cut. While I was inside I seen the doctor who drove the Porsche checking out my RC F as he was getting into his car.

Oh, and yeah, you got a great deal. It's better than my deal was. But I wasn't too worried about cutting a good deal. I would have paid MSRP for it if I had too. I wanted it.
