It deploys later in ECO mode to maintain low drag coefficient thereby keeping gas consumption down.

Interesting comment on the speeds that the rear wing will go up and down on. In auto mode mine goes up at 55mph and comes down at 25mph.

correct, this is for gas mileage.

  2. Personally leave mine in Auto Mode and only let it work via MPH. Not a fan of "Wings" on Cars, but this is subtle enough.
