Default Have Seat heaters been addressed for 17'

Gentlemen, I know there are complaints with the seat heaters on the 2015 and 2016 from what I have read. Does anyone have a 2017 that can say theirs are nice and toasty.
I am just curious if Lexus has addressed this in the 2017 model?

What's the issue? I've got a 2017, haven't noticed anything wrong with the seat heater, although cooling doesn't always seem to work as well as I expect. I've read about hot air from the seatback and may have experienced it.... Only had the car a little over a week.

The 2015s and 2016s don't work very well so he wanted to know if that was fixed

Used them last weekend, car was outside, temp was around freezing, they warmed up relatively quickly, turned them off... This is a bit subjective, I think they weren't as warm as some cars (European) I've had, but comparable to other Lexi (IS,RC).

The cooling seems comparable to my 2015, with both sometimes getting "warm" on my back which is annoying... Might start carrying a temp sensor to track actual temps.

I have a 2015 and I wasn't aware of any issues with the heated seats. I am in NC right now and I have been using them since it's been cold. They seem to be working to me... I start with them on max, then I have to turn them to the minimum after a few minutes or else I'll start sweating. But I'm from Florida so I don't normally use heated seats, meaning I'm no expert on how they should work.

The ventilated seats are a different story though.

Ok....I guess I must have misinterpreted the information... so the heated seats work well ....Then I suppose I meant the ventilated seats (cooling) that don't work well?

I just tried my seat heaters for the first time in my 2015 RC F and max setting was as if they had never been turned on. I never did get a warm seat. In my previous Lexus cars, the seat heaters would get very nice and hot on max. So based on previous comments, not sure if it is as Lexus now makes them or if there is a problem. The steering wheel heater worked like a charm, so no problem there.

If they did fix the issue, they better start a recall and fix the 15 and 16s

I dont feel the ventilated seats unless my shirt is wet. Unless its VERY cold, then i can barely feel the seat warmer.

It's not the heated, but the ventilation that gets warm. My 16 I've only used the seat warmers and they get toasty quick

I have the same issue with the heated seats in my RCF. Being in NC it does not get that cold but the other day a friend and i were driving, he has a RC 200T, and he turned on the seat heater and after about half hour said his get hotter. Went to the dealer who kept the car most of the day and when i picked it up the service writer said, they are fine and the thermo-gun said it was heating up to 90 degrees, the reason your friend and wife's, she has RX, get hotter is they have two heating elements you have only one.

Really I buy the "top of the line" and only get one element ..seriously that ain't right, but then again i wont need them much due to our weather.

I have a 15 and complained that the seats heater wasnt working (compared to the heated seats on my 2014 ES350). I was told my the dealer that they cheeked it and it is performing as it should be. I was a bit puzzled because the heated seats on my ES350 were much better then the RC, but oh well...

i live in iowa , only drive in good weather (no rain/snow) and warmers work fine. it gets hot for me. wouldn't want it to get too hot, the leather material would prob look like crap over time from it.
