thoughts on purchasing a used rc-f

i know this is the best advice, but my 22 year old self is saying get the car. I know i need to be looking at homes, but honestly i would just buy a nice condo down the road for 300-400k and put in another extra 20-30k for the car upgrade. i just feel like if i kept the rc200t its so ****ing boring. on the other hand what if i get an exhaust, cai, and wrap the car a funky color. its still not a v8 though. i really messed up getting this car, also looking at a cla 45 too.

it's your choice.. keep in mind that along with the purchase of the RCF comes higher insurance, more money for fuel, higher cost of maintenance, etc.
it's not just the purchase of the car you have to consider. but the long term cost to maintain it. If it were me I would probably look at a V8 Mustang or Challenger, for $40K you can get some serious bang for the buck and save some coin.. Something else to consider is how long you are going to keep it, as a youngster I am guessing you get bored easy and will want a new ride in 2-3 years, buying a $70K car is probably not worth it at that point you are going to lose a lot in resell.No one can tell you what to do, it is a choice you have to make on your own, so review all the data, list all the pros and cons and make a decision.

i would lease the cla45 AMG to be honest if you have to get something else. Cheaper than financing monthly and get something new in 3 yrs.

Experience tells me that 3-400k condo will come with at least $5-600 monthly association fees. You will figure it out later..

its just im not satisfied with the speed and i want something faster. i like luxury now that im with the lexus so its gonna be tough for me to go something like a chevy or VW , which is why i want the rc-f or cla 45. the thing is id have to buy the cla 45 new again with bunch of taxes and fees and warranties so that would be like 20-30k both options for new cla with my trade in or sell my rc plus add $ and get used rc-f. i would keep the rc-f to the death since its a v8. the merc tho idk i want something fun tho. but the rc200t isn't it. i wish the golf r wasn't ugly as sin.
So Lease what you want.. I dunno man.. must be tough being a 22 year old today, when I was 22 I drove a piece of crap Ford Escort that cost me $3,000. got me from point A to point B. Back then I wasn't concerned with speed, I was concerned with paying my rent.

my advice is get what you can when you can. Being "responsible" is not for everyone. I got my ISF when i was 24 years old and was a 55k car at the time. My job consist of me moving all over the US so buying a house is not for everyone. Many of my IT friends were the same situations. We just rent townhouses and nice apartments for contracted work.
Having an RC-F if much better at 22 years old than at 32 years old. But thats my opinion .
Life is short. Cars have been my hobby and my happiness is always a great investment. If you are not a car guy , then yes, it might be a waste of money.

I really wanted an "F' car. I got a great deal on my RC F. But in real life where I live...in an crowded urban suburb...I couldn't use the RC F to do what it does best...go fast! Where I do the majority of my driving is 35 to 45 mph. I found I actually preferred the responsiveness of my NX 200t. So I traded my RC F. If I had to go back and make the decision again...I would have been better off with an IS 350. Your RC 200t F Sport is a really nice car! Just some advice from a guy in his mid 40's. But ISFPOWER is right...life is short...do what makes you happy...if you get a good deal...without going into debt you can't recover from.
