Also, someone already mentioned, although I haven't verified, the stock one ISN'T ribbed on the inside.
The STOCK ONE ISN'T RIBBED ON THE INSIDE (are you a BETTIN' Man). APPARENTLY, you've NEVER Looked at it then (where it's Ribbed on the OUTSIDE is where it's Ribbed on the INSIDE! WHAT do you THINK is the Purpose of getting a So-Called SMOOTH TUBE Intake for? Lol

i think he's talking about adding more weight and clamps (possible future leaks). not about the inside.

Default Installed

Knowing full well there is no true Hp or Tq gain with this item, I couldnt pass it for just $300 installed (by a great Member here) Other than good looks I will say this. For some odd reason there is a noticable change to the Engine Braking feel now. Like most of us, driving in manual mode in both Sport & Sport+ I most definitely feel the car slows itself more than it did before adding this mod, and the Apexi Air Filter as well.

Also, the infamous "Amplified Engine Sound" thru our Mark Levinson system is another noticable "gain" when driving in Sport+ mode! Dont we all just love that sound and feel? lol. 😎
