Hey Rolla! Long time brother!
Got alot going on before officially posting the new F of mine here. I FINALLY sold those Black Chrome wheels and the guy put em on his wifes Toyota Scienna Minivan AND fit his Avalon too!

Chrome Delete being done on 9/11 which was a chosen date due to my status! Bought tons of CF Vinyl and tried myself, but after visiting a great shop figured they do it much better. = $$$

A Minivan w 20s!

Avalon looks better no?

Thanks man. Great to see you were able to sell those wheels. What do you have on now? Stock wheels?

Pictures look nice with those great looking wheels. Although, I think wheel gap is a little too pronounced on the minivan and the Avalon. Probably a taller tire can fix it.

I have been looking for people's opinions on RCF Takeda intake and seems like many have it, but no one writes a review on it. It seems like a good design as it still uses the stock airbox, but goes with the "cone" filter design. I know the gains are minimal (if any), but I am interested in the sound. Anyone with Takeda please let me know how much difference you notice in the sound? I have Injen CAI on my Corolla XRS and the sound difference was dramatic when lift kicked in at 6500 rpm. I know RCF already comes with a cold air intake, but I still hink there is more sound to be had from a more free-flowing intake.

If anyone has the Takeda intake, please let me know about your thoughts from sound perspective.

^^^^I had a Takeda on on my ISF and liked it a lot. From 11 years ago:

Over the years I painted the tube black and replaced the filter with the later model oiled one.

Thanks. Do you remember what rpm range did you hear the most difference? Did you get the dry one or the oiled one? Which one do you think is the better option. Also, you said WOT is pretty much the same sound wise? I would love to have that E46 CSL-style airbox noise on my RCF.

Thanks, Flowrider. It is going on my to-do list for the RCF. Takeda is the one that appeals to me the most because it has the conical filter while still retaining the stock airbox.

This video motivated me to look into intakes (after I had dumped the idea several times) once I am through with the list of to-do I have on my RCF. The intake sounds so amazing with the E46 CSL-like loud intake box noise at 0:51. Even if it is worth minimal gains, the sound alone makes it worth it.

Rolla....I have had a sikky tube, then went takeda intake, now I finally rest my intake with the AEM intake. I love it...entire stock air box gets removed, then a AEM box gets bolted to the chassis, paired with a K&N come filter, and topped off with a CF cover.
