Do you mean LEMS Ti Intake? Picked one up from a Member here for $300 and as stated above, I've noticed a very big difference in the way the car Engine Breaks now! Much more pronounced and exhilarating!

https://www.nengun.com/lems/titanium-intake-pipe

Also dropped one of these in with the LEMS so I couldn't say which one makes the engine breaking feel n sound so awesome!

Lems yes, sorry! 2-3 months deliverytime unfortunately...
Planning to use a K&N OEM replacement-filter. Can’t wait.

Default Heatshield

Hi,
all with an heatshield like the RR’one or similar. Did you take out or re-allocate the setup for the oem «open-close» airfilter thingy?
Does not look like from pictures that it will fit under (wiring and connector)
please advice

Yes, that solenoid and horn get moved. They have instructions on where to locate them. Basically moved straight back to the strut tower. Only thing I didn't like with the rr racing shield is the hose they send you is the wrong diameter. I went to local auto parts store and got 2 feet of proper hose and ran it as needed. Have some left over. I guess they wanted to seem cool with silicone hose when regular rubber stuff is all you need.

Some members also have said some trimming on the plastic maybe be required. Something to do with weight reduction.....lol

I didn't have to trim any plastic. Probably R&R corrected the design of the heat shield.

I think a hole is required to be cut on the side plastic piece so the intake will suck in cold air instead of hot engine bay air. My blitz intake requires the same thing.

I've noticed all pictures of this are post install, I removed the cover and took some pics below. Should hopefully show the parts that need to be moved around.

Some trimming is needed to allow air to be sucked in from under the fender cover. I mounted the cover, traced a line on the trim with a pencil, and used a sharp knife to cut it as needed. Don't see it all when cover is in place.

Pic of moved horn and vacuum solenoid. I also cut the wiring harness loose to allow it to be re-routed easier, taped it into place once down to keep everything neat. You may need to lift that side of the car to get the nut on the back of the horn, there's a factory hole that is used.

Better view of trimming needed on the plastic cover area.

Here's the shape of the cover, showing why the notch is needed for best results.

Everything buttoned up.

2-3 months delivertime due to Covid-19 the intake needs to be sent by boat...

No one has the Tom's cf intake tube?

https://lexusboutique.net/products/t...ntake-pipe-kit

Seems pricey but honestly looks OEM. I'm not there yet to change a lot of stuff, but I think I would go this route as it looks the best to me and retains the breather lines back into the engine. I'd rather not have tubes going to an external filter. Plus actual real carbon fiber is a plus :-)

You don't like the AFE Power Takeda anymore? I spoke with @TOPHER9425 extensively about AEM before I decided to go with the AFE Takeda. He sounded very happy with it. I tagged him, but you can PM him.

You can see the conversation above in this thread

All are crap. Keep the stock box. Maybe swap the elbow itself if you want. No sound changes or hp from swapping intakes for us.
i had takeda , lost power.
have RR intake now. Love.it. but it's not where our power addons lie. It's in the header swap and cat back you select.
