That looks interesting...

I can't stand that our RC F doesn't have forward facing parking assist, but they are on the RC 350 and lower models. I find the front corner sensors nearly useless for real world parking.

My sensors work fine, only need them if I am close to something higher than a parking curb in front of me, and they work without issue.

I am disabled I typically park in disabled spots which have a sign, and the sensors always pick up the sign. They pick up the brick flower bed in front of my car where I park in my drive, and the trees and bushes along the side of my driveway..

They are not designed to pick up things down low, but they work fine for anything above the height of a parking curb.

The link that Pheen619 provides at Beat Sonic is very interesting. It implies that the back camera (and the aftermarket front) is just plain NTSC. To me, it also implies that the main Nav monitor is just NTSC also, and that it has an RCA video input. However, I do not see that in the back of the monitor. It is not clear to me how the little switch box is telling the Nav monitor to select the video feed. Does anyone have any technical info?

After watching the camera install video...

I've always thought the RCF screen was small. Looks like the 2017 IS screen would fit right in. Does anyone have a picture of the new IS screen rear connection? It would be nice to have a wider screen..
