Lexus isn't putting any great specials out on these right now and are reducing production for 2017. You should be able to get a 2017 for invoice or maybe a little below invoice but 20% off wouldn't happen. Any remaining 2016's recently had $8000 dealer cash available (I can't recall if that was still available this month) if any remain available.

Yeah this has to be it, there is absolutely no way 10-15K RCF's sold each year!

Agree 100%! The less the better

Agreed. I think the dealer cash is probably done. I was able to get it luckily!

I am seeing lots of RC F's just sitting and not moving so it's a very different world than Porsches. I have read that some people were getting 20% off but that was a year ago. Is it possible to get 20% off MSRP on a new one? We are in Northern California.
I've seen a few dealerships offering about $4,500 off of MSRP on 2017s. From this, I would assume there could me more room for discount the later we get into 2017. Lexus of Nashville is one example.

4500 is at invoice. Should only see this at volume dealers. i have been told by corporate that the 2016 and 2017 production will be drastically reduced. they dont want this car bastardized in GM style rebates and terrible resale values the car is too special.

There are 2016s available for 60s but you'd be stuck on color options. I can't imagine 2017s will go through the same thing, it's like the GTR buyers waiting for Nissan to apply the $10k dealer cash again but it's been $5k for a year.

always wondered why someone wouldn't take a last year model for over 20% off and demands a dealer to discount 20% on a current year, especially the car is near identical.

I'd guess availability. I found 3 2016s and the ones discounting 20% aren't the color I want, the color I want isn't budging. Now I'm mostly looking for used.

Negotiated via e-mail for 3 weeks and they kept wanting to sell me a 2016 model of a different color. Found the car I wanted 50 miles away and shared with the them I was going to start negotiating with another dealership. They finally made an offer of $69,513 with a $2000 dealer rebate so I accepted. They went to the other dealership, drove the vehicle back and I picked it up the next day. After joining this Forum I actually thought I didn't do as well as I could have because I was seeing many people buying the 2016 for low 60's. So I guess it was a good deal after all.

Plus in California the tax alone was over $6K.
