I understand what you're referring to! It's not a major difference but I do feel that it does get stiffer in Sport Plus Mode. However, I always thought that it was just some sort of placebo effect. Haha

The steering gets tighter, no change to suspension in Sport+mode in my 2015 that I can tell. Even the online reviewers like this guy talks about the actuall advantages of non adaptive if you wish to make your own changes...

Just found out that you can't install aftermarket coilovers or springs on a 2017 model because adaptive suspenion? Maybe I should go with 2016 model then ;(

Found out from an expert? Just purchased a set of the Swift lowering springs for my 2017 with adaptive suspension and was told it won't have any impact. Not going to put them on now until I absolutely understand the impact.

I've had 2 vehicles (non lexus) with adaptive suspension, you don't want to mess with the springs or any other part of it if you value your warranty. the minute you change the springs you void the warranty on the suspension.

normal suspension isn't that big of a deal, if a strut goes bad you replace it, with adaptive suspension the struts are significantly higher priced and you can't just grab an aftermarket unit and replace it.

on my 2010 Avalanche the standard Strut replacement was $150-$170 per corner, the adaptive suspension replacement was $1400 per corner.

Not from experts but I guess members of the clublexus.

all depends on your desires and your means.

personally I wouldn't, but then again I steer clear of adaptive suspension vehicles, I've owned 2 and I personally don't care for them, I prefer a static semi-stiff to stiff suspension, don't care for the soft floating feeling..

So Lexus is saying they will take 10k off 2016 which has a MSRP of 75,000. Should I try to haggle down the price even more or is this a good deal?
