Default This is the RC-F I am trying to purchase.

Hey guys,
I am eyeing this RC-F and was wondering how much money can I hassle down with the current MSRP?

I am so excited =)

7 grand if you are lucky.

Just a thought, why not go for a leftover 2016 if you want a large discount

I know there is no difference between the two years but I just want the latest and the greatest!

2015-17 all look the same haha. No one is going to know the year besides you and the manufacture date stamp.

price is all relative. If you have the cash and pay 10% more for an identical 2017, more power to you. Depreciation and cost is all relative

Id run the numbers on Edmunds, TrueCar and KBB and leverage any other dealer ad or posting that is for less as your game.
be patient. I live in Ohio and went all the way to Georgia in peroson to get the best deal.

Just got a call from the sales and she said she can take $4,000 off from the 2017 and about $10,000 off the msrp on a 2016. So I am guessing you would go with the 2016 since there is no changes =)

2017s have the adaptive suspension, I had a 2015, now a 2017, much prefer daily driving in the new one. Other than that and different base wheels, no real changes.

Oh is that so? Is the adaptive suspension a package option or does it come like that from stock?

Stock. Works similarly to the F-Sport, when you dial up Sport+ you get stiffer, but its adaptive in both settings... In theory, it has more levels of damping than the F-Sport version. Same thing will be in the LC.

I'm bummed we didn't get the "Customized" setting the new IS and GS get... Basically you have "Normal" or "Customized" to chose from when you push down on the dial and you set the parameters for Customized for Engine, Transmission, and Suspension.

Nice man did not know about that. My first car was an is350 and have not been on the board since this year. I need to re-educate myself on the Lexus brand. I am planning to install swift springs, do you know if that will hinder or create problems with adaptive suspension?

Sorry, don't know about replacing the springs, I'm staying stock.

if you're planning to mess with the suspension, then get the 2016. Cuz the adjustable dampers might not work appropriate with the new springs.
