Due to the LC500. If so, a used RC-F should retain it's value very well, or even increase in value.

I would not hold your breath on either count.

I am not holding my breath. I'm just putting this out there for conversation.

This is exactly why ppl keep saying the guys on this forum are unhelpful and jerks...

Anyway, I don't think so. I think the RC-F would at least have a 4 year run. I think it'll be more like 6 years though.

Well maybe that would be good.......here's everything I've had done so far under warranty

Wing Spoiler TSB - much better but still having issues
Display Consul TSB - much much better. have only had one glitch since.
Fuel Pump TSB - still whines like a MF and if you hit the speed limiter, it's like something gets activated and it will not stop hissing like a mad raccoon. Sounds like a plane almost lol.
Transmission - solenoids and electronics replaced in shifter assembly

Also the brake pad TSB is good until 4 years or 50,000 miles from new. So I'll wait to get a free brake job on the advice of my service manager. but that's part of brembos open design for cooling I think, so not necessarily a defect.
The car is 1.5 years old with 9,500.

when was your build date?
Mine was build 07/15 and the wing works perfect.
what was wrong with your display console?
do you use shell gas and on eco mode?
what was wrong with the tranny?
you might want to confirm the brake TSB, my advisor told me 12k and 12 month

electronics in the trans, would keep shifting into neutral during braking.

only use Nitro 93, I test my fuels at my job as well and they are well up to par.

The display would just restart in the middle of driving, and it would restart repeatedly 5 times.

Wing won't go down over 80, no matter how many times you press the darn button.

I'll double check, SM told me within 4/50, however having worked in the auto world, warranty is more about whether they see you as a loyal customer or not. Also I always leave 10 star lexus survey's so when the day comes where it's 50/50 warranty, they'll remember the surveys!

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. But every model of car is going to have it's issues. It's the nature of the beast when things come from an assembly line. Especially on a first year model. Lexus usually has a lot fewer of these issue though.

With that said, I don't recall my build date. But my VIN ends in 1520. It was built sometime in 2014. I have not had any of the issues you mention. I have 31k miles.

Do you have the tsb#s handy for the wing and for the brakes? I already had the fuel pump addressed.
thanks in advance

you can call your service manager and he can look them all up by your VIN....literally will take him 10 seconds. Not sure if we can do that ourselves, but it sure would make things like this a lot easier.
