An RCF with Torsen and CF bits would be the lightest yet. Have they separated the CF from performance package for 2017?
No, you could have bought the TVD by itself on early 2015s, but now they're combined.

Don't forget, the CF + TVD package gets you a slightly lower center of gravity, plus your trunk pops up by itself with the remote. If you don't have the CF wing, the trunk unlocks, but sits there... big hassle to have to open it by hand!

Um, I don't have a CF wing and my trunk opens by itself.

mine opens as well without CF TVD, but the rubber liner seems to stick when it's hot out preventing it to open automatically. It will open on the second try after closing

Is the final/differential ratio the same for the TVD and LSD RCF?

My trunk opens by itself, also the carbon roof is a cover over the existing roof. I removed the weather striping on the roof while the dealer wasn't looking, but you do save the weight of no sunroof.

One thing y'all aren't taking into consideration is drivetrain loss, does the tvd equate to more parasitic loss? Also is any of additional tvd weight rotating mass? If so that makes a greater impact.

I doubt it, maybe some dealers are having them carbon overlayed?

This. There are other threads on this subject. The OP for the post you quoted was inspecting a car that had a dealer wrap on it.

Must be something else then... there was a thread a while ago where folks were complaining the trunks wouldn't pop open by themselves (saw it on my 2015) except for folks w/CF wings.... My mistake.

not to Hijack the thread, but changing out the final drive is a very popular mod in the domestic crowd. Have this been done with the ISF?
