Talking Trying to get the RCF to crackle/backfire/pop - Any ideas?

I got my borla exhaust system installed and it sounds evil. Incredible exhaust. Only driven it a few times so far, but I got one loud intense backfire/pop while decelerating and also had another decently loud one today.

With my last car, I knew exactly when it would crackle, accelerate past 4k, let it decel in same gear, around 3500-3000 you get magical crackle. Any idea when this happens with the RCF engine? Haven't figured it out yet!

To add, I believe when it happened I was at very low RPM, sub 2K which seems strange to me.

No particular way that I know of, but some other cars like the new M3s and new AMG crackle like nothing else.
It does sound nice though. I have a borla as well so I understand what you're hearing.

Similar to the F-type/huracan. They are making them do it purposefully at this point LOL. Have you heard what I'm talking about? Not necessarily a bunch of crackles like an F-type, but 1 big one.

I've had my car pop once or twice the same way you Described......I have the Invidia system.....I cannot purposefully reproduce it.......it is the one sound I miss from my F-Type V8 is the deceleration crackle.....

F-type v8 is one of the best sounding when it comes to crackling and popping without a doubt. Love how that car sounds even stock

I think if I were to remove the resonators so it's similar to meisterschaft it would do it as well. Not sure if I want to remove them though

When I was tuning carburetors, that was always a bad thing - a hallmark of a poor tuner...funny how things change.

I'm in the same boat. Think it sounds low quality to my ears for some reason.

Seems to be extremely common now. Even among stock cars from the manufacturer.

Hahahaha that never happens? Try Youtube.

100 years ago a muffler blew off the car in front of me and almost took my head off (on my Triumph 650).
Well yes, I understand a massive backfire could do that, but I couldn't fathom an OEM system allowing something like that to ever happen considering the lawsuits would be insane. Many manufacturers have cars leaving the factory sounding like this, are you saying every one of those cars are likely to explode and send shrapnel into the poor soul behind them one day? Lol
