Is it the RR670 that you're referring to?

Default Do you need to change out the headers?

Sorry for asking a stupid question, do I need to change out the OEM headers to say PPE headers before I add this super charger kit?

Since no one has mentioned headers with the SC kit, I thinks it's a legit question for newbies like me.

Thanks for all your knowledgeable answers.

Nope. They changed it to 8 years now. This way they make more money by charging you the so-called "abatement" fee and basically stealing the money from the smog shops.

You don’t HAVE to but it is highly recommended.

You know your going to get all kinds of answers since DA, temps, wind, engine health, fuel, tires, weight, etc. play a huge factor. Expect between low 11’s and low 12’s.

Trap speed goes up significantly though. You start to trap between 125-130ish which is enough for a 10 second pass BUT what kills us is having to pretty much launch at idle. Think of a bad@ss Evo that can do 10’s and then remove his two step and launch control and have him take off from idle I promise he won’t run 10’s.
