You could give Goof Off a try I have used it with great success on many difficult to remove stains, etc. If you try it be very careful, just lightly rub over the spot, or you can end up digging into the clearcoat. But if it actually penetrated into the paint then you'd be wasting your time.
As an aside, I apply Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Coating once a year, first time was within a month or so of when I got the car. Its a little work - they recommend applying a prepping polish first but I think it keeps things like what you described from being a problem - penetrating the clear coat.
