the GSF mirrors will not work because the mounting point is a different shape/design..

you can buy the Aussy/Euro Spec RCF mirror and switch then swap them out, everything is plug and play, no wiring needed HOWEVER they will not auto fold with ignition off, as the programming is not in the ECU, but the button works. and you will need to swap your Left hand drive glass from your existing mirrors as these have the concave glass on the left door and regular on the right door, opposite of US spec..

find your color and part number here, the mirrors are $700 USD each plus about $400 USD for shipping from Japan:
http://www.jp-carparts.com/toyota/partlist.php?maker=lexus&type=246120&cartype=1&fig=8701

the switch is part number 84810-48010 and is $45

found in image 8 here: http://www.jp-carparts.com/toyota/part_detail.php?maker=lexus&type=246120&cartype=1&fig=8401&part=1310055

close to $2000 so if you don't mind the expense, have at it.

Do Germany and France get the folding mirrors too? One potential? workaround is to get those mirrors instead of the Japan ones, as they are both LHD countries like the US is.

no idea, the only ones I was ever able to locate were the ones I linked, which were linked to me by someone else here (I started this same thread in 2015). There are several threads here showing people with various models swapping from manual to power fold and it is all plug an play, so I have no doubt the RCF is as well.

but @ $2000 I decided it wasn't worth it..

Hi from Spain.!! My first message. I have just my car since one year ago, so I am learning in this Forum every day. Here we have autofolding mirrors too, as standard configuration. If some of you needs any info I could go to Lexus Shop and get the part number. We have 3 configurations in Spain.Executive/Carbon/Luxury different to the German ones in options, but I think that all Europe configurations comes with folding mirrors.

Hi,

the links above don't work but some searching yielded this and wanted to get your guys input please. Using the search to the parts, led me to the website : https://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts-...-f/mirror.html

USA Car / Left Hand Drive... I'll need to make power mirrors work (by button only) are:

87909-24430-B0
Actuator Assy, Outer Mirror, LH
MERCURY GRAY MC.,1H9
Location: Driver Side
Part Name Code: 87909

and

87908-24430-B0
Actuator Assy, Outer Mirror, RH
MERCURY GRAY MC.,1H9
Location: Passenger Side
Part Name Code: 87908

and

switch, but the switch has a lot of options. Are the two descriptions I mentioned good for my Nebula Grey 2015 and if so, could some assist on the window switch please.

Thanks in advance. I sent them an email on this last week and no reply yet.

Winglet!

I see this being the start of a new friendship buddy!

If you could please make a note to contact them about a set of these mirrors there I would gladly pay you to ship them to me? I own a 2017 Ultrasonic Blue 2.0. I didnt see any color code for this listed above, but will see if I can locate it - unless you could ask your parts Department?

Its been awhile since I've been there, do you have your steering wheels on right side of car, or same as US?

Very helpful post, welcome and hope to hear from you soon. I will PM you my details as well.

Question Truly Seeking This Mod

Would like to revive this discussion if possible.

Due to my wifes 2017 RX350 having the "Auto Retract" mirror option, I have almost been reaching up for the switch which the RCF doesn't even have! Granted, with the proper parts and professional installer - just about anything can be done to modify cars these days. However, I would seriously like to know if anyone has ever gone ahead and had this done to there own RCF?

Any Electronics experts able to weigh in on what challenges would be found?

Im sure that finding the proper sized parts would be the first obstacle. If Color matching is biggest issue, one could always do the Carbon Fiber covers if they don't match.
It absolutely baffles me that this is not even an Option one can choose on this high end vehicle (Heated Steering Wheel too. Played with it doing the famous "Build Your Lexus - But do they even offer a "Winter Package" on RCF?)

(Sigh)- Some things I will just have to accept living without

Yes, I'm familiar w what you're talking about regarding Trim / Package choices- but that is not the query. For those "unfortunate" souls who don't even have the choice like that - Can those same "automatic / electric" mirrors be installed on a vehicle which does NOT currently have them???????

So the RCF in the US dont have electric mirrors? - No

is it possible to order parts from the EU- Have No idea

i Can check What the part cost here if That should be of intresst - That would be very kind of you. My question is still "Can they be mounted to a car that does not have them?" Looking for someone here who might have done this.
