Default Anyone else in the central Carolinas?

I am new to the form and new to the RC F and I was wondering if there is anyone else on the forum in the Charlotte or upstate South Carolina area. I have a lot to learn about these awesome cars.

It is Ultrasonic Blue with the Circuit Red interior. I just can't wait for it to get here. Our local dealer had to trade for it and they say it should be early next week. The waiting is just killing me.

No, I have a fairly long highway commute to work and I am going to continue to use the 08 Corvette. I don't want to rack up the daily driver miles on the RCF. Picked up the RCF yesterday, it came in from the other dealer early. Going back tomorrow for my technology lessons. I am working my way through the manuals now......

Anybody that's responded here up for/planning to go to Charlotte Cars and Coffee on Saturday? If so, I think I'd be up for it as well. I'd bring the RCF instead of the Supra, which I brought last time.

I'll be there with our RC F instead of the '89 Turbo Trans Am I brought last time. I would like to hear about your Supra if we meet up, I have always had a fondness for them but never owned one.

Sounds good. Look forward to it. There are a couple of pics and a little bit of info on my Supra in my RCF Build thread here:

I like those turbo T/As. (I like ALL kinds of cars) Is yours one of the Silver Anniversary edition ones?

I like all sorts of cars as well. All of the 1,550 1989 Turbo Trans Am are white with gold GTA style wheels. They were the Indy Pace car that year and most like mine have the graphics on the doors and the Pontiac windshield graphic. They have a higher horsepower version of the 3.8 turbo last used in the 1987 Buick Grand National with 17 pounds of boost. It's quicker at the 60' and 330' than my LS3 Corvette and they are dead even in the 1/8 mile at 8.11. They were very much an anomaly for that time period, there wasn't much that was quick.
