Default Very Disappointed with Carbon Exchange AKA LRCSALES (resolved)

On May 27, 2017 I've sent a payment for $1681.55 through PayPal to have left and right mirrors, center console, and 4 engine fuse covers overlayed with carbon fiber, that was including the new OEM parts that was supposed to be purchased by Ryan.

After almost three months of false promises and lies, he sent out 3 engine fuse covers that was overlayed and 2 new OEM left and right mirror covers because he said he couldn't overlay them. I received the parts on August 24th, 2017, which was absolutely horrible, bubbles, discoloration, rough surface, scratches, etc. Quality that is worst than a Chinese knockoff product! I have sent his 3 engine fuse covers back and the OEM mirrors covers that he wasn't able to wrapped back on August 28th, 2017 and he received it back yesterday, August 31, 2017.

So Ryan texted me and told me that he had received the item back today Sept 1st, 2017, I told him his work was no good and just wanted the full refund. He said he wouldn't do it and would charge me the OEM parts and 15% a restocking fee for his shoddy work?!??!

Ryan seems to be a very shady person, in the beginning when we was pricing out the parts to be overlayed, he tried to overcharged me 400-500 more than what he told me until I corrected him, if I didn't he would've probably charged me and took my money without a blink of an eye, I should've went with my instinct and went somewhere else. I am currently in the process of trying to recover my money through PayPal. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. Very disappointed in Ryan, do not buy from him, this guy is all over the place! Here are the pics below:

UPDATE: I received the full refund, but the ate the ~$18 return shipping cost. Thanks guys, problem resolved!

If your looking for a new company I strongly recommend Carbon Fiber Element out of NJ. Quality work and good prices.

Wow, sorry to hear about your experience! Those are some very low quality work, you're right! Hope you get your money back, and you should!

Wow, pretty shoddy work! PayPal usually gives the buyer 6 months to reverse a transaction. You did the right thing returning them right away. Open a dispute and if everything matches up via your back & forth emails, pics etc.. you will get a full refund.

Did you use a credit card? If so, you can dispute the purchase with them also

Good luck

Im not going to comment on the quality of work since I've never had any work done by Ryan, but I know him through the forum and he has always been cool with me. I could never afford that cost so id never pay that, but it definitely looks better than the ugly black stock look. There is a reason other companies don't sell these parts in carbon. One is, no weight saving and another is some of those spots on the pieces are super hard to mold, so I have to give credit for trying. Cant really tell how good or bad the carbon looks in the pictures but for that price it should obviously be perfect, without defects, blemishes, imperfections, etc. You and I have both bought some bad overseas knock off and I wouldn't say its as bad as those for sure. I dont know the details of the transaction but hopefully it gets worked out from a business stand point. Sorry this happened to you both. Maybe see if it can be redone to your liking or send back the parts for a refund. Im sure he could resell the ones he did for the price it cost to purchase the stock parts to break even. Or find someone that isnt as detail oriented to buy it. Seems like an easy resolution.

Consumers are not idiot. Resell to others not as detail oriented? You gotta be kidding me.
Easy resolution? IMO, only 2 solutions: 1, dump these garbage, refund the money.
2, sell these to you - rmsimmonsj Earlier I mentioned "consumers are not idiot". I mean to say "most consumers are not idiot". I bet your brand new perfect hellcat and your RCF would look great with this kind of products since you are "not as detail oriented". GO FOR IT~

once i get a chance i will be giving my version of the story. Frankly if i have offered the refund the very second you said you were not happy with the work. I really dont understand the personal attacks. Tucker after receiving what i gave him made personal attacks and made fun of me. I stayed professional the entire time and even asking him several times to stop the name calling and nasty attacks, he stilled continued to run his mouth. its all saved on text so i am not worried.

to be continued

Good idea. Gonna place orders for both cars. You are full of good ideas. Also, idiot is suppose to be plural, like this, 'Idiots". You made the mistake 3 times like you did when you wrote that rant about people you dont even know personally like I do.

God Bless.

You are very delusional. There are no personal attacks made
against you. The text was stating that your products are crap and who in the right mind would send these items out to their customers. I have the full text that I can screenshot if any of you guys would like to see that these comments were made against his products that he sent out. The pictures speaks for themselves.

why does this have to be a big soap opera? you didnt like the product after i sent and before i sent we agreed i would refund and that im sorry i couldn't complete?

I think there was some miscommunication. I am going to refund your full amount. before i shipped what i had completed AND give those parts of mine just for you to have to your disposal and the money back. But since you acted out of emotion and not professionalism

also the beginning when we were trying come up with the cost. I made a math error by mistake. And we resolved it and you made the payment AND you forgot to mention the the world that i gave you a multi piece discount

furthermore i am not doing this as a service for any one any longer. I want everyone to know i gave tucker updates, really there is so much to talk about with this whole ordeal. i just dont have the time to

"dont" -don't? "Id" - I'd? "cant" -can't? or British dirty word lol , 3 times as well. You are not perfect either. BTW, the vendor above also likes to use "DONT", same habit i guess.

I only commented on the quality of defective "products". Not even once I mentioned vendor's name. Which eye of yours saw "rant about people"? And which eye of yours can't see the defective products? You don't need to be"detail oriented" to see the issues. Just because you know the person personally and you like the person, that doesn't mean the person you like doesn't suck at business. I bet Hilter's wife must have loved Hilter and thought he wasn't that bad. By your standard, any comments on what he did must be the "rant about people" since he was liked by someone. LOGIC~

P.S. IMO, the "professionalism" of a vendor is to provide good quality and to satisfy his/her customers.

^^^^And the purpose of a thread like this, is to let others know of a users experience, so they can make their own decisions. My experiences with carbon fiber wrapping have been bad and excellent. My last experience with an ex forum sponsor, MAizzRunner was superb. Too bad he doesn't post here anymore.
