Re-introducing myself: 2015 Lexus RCF Molten Pearl with Carbon Package and TVD
Hi everyone,
As some of you know, I had been in the process of purchasing Rage2/Shelton's RCF. Tonight the process was complete and brought this beauty back home. After 11 years of membership on this board, I finally purchased a Lexus LOL
Could not be happier with my decision. Probably, I get to drive it for a coupe of weekends and then it will go into hibernation especially for the snow months while my XRS will continue with daily duties.
Specs are:
2015 Lexus RCF
14,900 KM (9312 KM)
Carbon Package with TVD
All options including Mark Levinson, 10 spoke split polished wheels, LED headlights etc.
Resting in my garage.

Thanks Dave. And what a Lexus, it is. It is the do-it-all car. I have a baby seat in the back and the stroller fits in the trunk, a howling and screaming high-revving V8, great luxury, great handling and awesome styling. I could not ask for more in a car.

Thanks Josh. I guess, it was all based on the passion I have for cars. It came in very handy picking the right car for myself.

Congrats, how do you like the ride?
I have had it for only one day and test drove it with the seller (Rage2/Shelton) for about 45 minutes so my initial impressions are extremely positive. I will do a more detailed review once I get some more miles on it. It is the do-it-all sports car. I have a baby seat in the back and fit my baby stroller in the trunk. It is fun to drive even when cruising around. Gets lots of attention from everyone on the road. Also, Shelton had dialed the suspension to oversteer so the back end is very lively and the turn-in is extremely sharp especially at higher speeds in sport+. I never would drive it as hard as Shelton (who pushed the car to extreme limits to show how there was minimal to no understeer and the tail was very happy stepping out). The engine noise is glorious especially when it is in the upper reaches of the rpm. The exhaust definitely has a lot of room to be more audible. It revs so fast that it hits the rev limiter very quickly so have to watch out for that. Steering effort is a bit on the lighter side even in sport+ mode, but I am perfectly happy with how the steering ratio as to how quick it is lock-to-lock.
Maybe, I am too old or the fact that my wife is very strict, but I would never ever race anyone. It is mainly a car to have fun with my daughter and wife. Do some occasional spirited driving and some short acceleration runs. I purchased the car outright so it is going to be a car for long term (like my XRS which I have owned for 14 years) and will keep it for many years to come so I want to keep it in the best possible shape.
