Ok, so I had an Absolute BLAST yesterday at Jumbolair wannagofast even!!! I consistently ran 133MPH in the 1/2 mile, with 1/4mi speeds @107-108mph. My BEST was 135MPH in the 1/2.....It was 52 degrees outside, traction was a huge problem for EVERYONE! and had a constant 20MPH headwind......there were CTS-Vs trapping 141-142 all day, stock GTR's trapping 145-147. Built GTRs were running 170-180s....sponsored-racing GTR's were in the range of 210-219. Twin Turbo Gallardo pulled strongest of the day at 231MPH......I got to run 10 times. I could have run a lot more, but car was not getting any faster....I really enjoyed all the BIG BOYS out there showing their stuff! my 135MPH time was right after lunch break at 1pm when asphalt was at its highest temp. I tried multiple drive modes, manual and auto. My best was also in SPORT mode auto. It was a full day! Drove 4hrs to get there, put my car through unadulterated hell for a couple of hours, then drove 4hrs home!! I would LOVE to do it again!

 

Dude that is AWESOME!!! Glad you got to run so much...and it was a friggin blast wasn't it?

I think more people need to go try 1/2 mile as conceptually it seems like it may be boring (straight line as fast as you can) but something about it is very cool!

I would think our speeds are very comparable considering the density of the air in FL compared to AZ??? And my best speed was in Sport mode auto as well. Thanks for sharing your results!

 

Just to clarify, sport mode auto and not sport + mode is faster? Paddle shifters useless as well?

Cool deal man! Glad you had fun! I've been to 2 WannaGoFast events this year and definitely had tons of run just spectating. Will run the F soon I hope.
How did the FBO+tune isf do out there?! Know any of his times?
